Backyard Fire Pits

I have about 100-150 red bricks and not much money. I am getting ready to hang a bench swing and wanted to possibly inlay some bricks under it so it doesn’t get muddy and also at the same time I want to build a fire pit. I tend to lean toward simple or rustic designs. I need help with ideas, patterns, and any hints you might have.
