I have a metal 24 inch round fire ring I would like to place in a uni-lock retaining wall stone type of round enclosure (no mortar/ not permanent). Our town follows the standard building codes and was wondering if there was a required distance from a deck/house we had to follow, and no, I don’t really want to talk to the zoning officer about this.
I plan about 10 feet from our pressure treated deck at this point….

I need help finding a device or method to increase the flame height. The fire ring is 8 ft long, so I need a device that increases the gas flow or pressure to increase the flame height. Gas piped in directly from my residence and is at a standard rate/flow. Any ideas or solutions out there?
